Famous People From Lutterworth
(Who you may never have heard of!)
Lutterworth is known for John Wycliffe and Sir Frank Whittle, and the work that they completed that was truly world changing.
BUT, did you know that there are other Lutterworthians who also have their claim to fame, but who you may never have even heard of?
Two names come to mind – Percy Pilcher may be known to those of you who soar through life, and William Green could be familiar to those with a sharp mind. If these names don’t ring a bell, and you want to know their stories, come and visit us at the museum!
